Choose Your Own Resistance (2024) - Produced and filmed a 360, multi-perspective film that explores the choice to challenge racism. This piece is inspired and informed by recent research out of Columbia University about the effects of combating racism on wellbeing. By telling the stories of victims, bystanders, and perpetrators alike, the film adds complexity and nuance to our understanding of the motives, causes, and consequences behind racism. Johns Hopkins School of Nursing XR Learning Hub (2024) - Producing a mixed reality training experience for nurses, filmed in volumetric video. [Link]
Whose Future? (2022-Present) - Executive Director of a Meta-funded project that builds digital equity and inclusion through a network of tech classrooms for everyone. The Whose Future? digital platform delivers an award-winning curriculum and always-on WebXR learning environment built for students in low-resourced communities. [Link]
PARADISE (2022) - Produced a 20-minute two-person immersive audio experience for intimate partners in their own homes. Part interactive game, part theatrical experience, audiences progress through a world of simulated scenarios that explore why we stay together or fall apart. Produced for Johns Hopkins University and premiered at SXSW. [Link]
The State of Global Peace (2022) - Produced an interactive documentary where audiences inhabit the shoes of a prime minister delivering a high-profile speech at a virtual U.N. General Assembly. Produced for U.N.D.P.P.A. and Premiered at Sundance. Available on the Meta Quest Store. [Link]
Glowforge: Create Your World (2022) - Directed an award-winning video ad campaign where audiences get a glimpse into the lives of woodworkers, bakers, and even super-moms as they better their lives with Glowforge. Produced for Glowforge and Winner of Webby Award for Products & Services. [Link]
My Hidden City (2021) - Co-Directed and edited a short documentary film about Ei Shun, a young woman descended from a long line of Mrauk U’s archaeologists and historians, as she guides us through the ancient city of Mrauk U revealing facets of lost history and daily life. Produced for Myanmar’s Dept of Archaeology and Winner of Best Short Film at Roma Short Film Festival. [Link]
These Sleepless Nights (2019) - Produced a mixed-reality documentary allowing audiences to explore in-depth the experiences of those who have intimate experiences with evictions, be it as memories from childhood or trying to be a mother when you can’t pay the rent. Produced for The Next Amendment and Premiered at Venice Biennale. [Link]
Futures Thinking on Coursera (2019) - Produced 5 courses with over 100 individual video classes delivering proven methodologies and tools to direct and navigate the future and connect with the global community of futures-thinkers. Produced for Institute for the Future and published on Coursera. [Link]
New Realities of Learning: Experiential Media and the Future of Education (2019) - Produced a short documentary on the future affordances and applications of VR and AR for education and workforce training. Produced for Institute for the Future and released at the Ten Year Forecast conference. [Link]
Female Prisoner Reentry (2018) - Produced, filmed, and edited a multi-episode VR series that helps to train female inmates for the underlying psychological challenges of reentry. Produced for Emerson College and the MA Dept of Corrections and piloted at SMCC. [Link]
XPrize: Getting to the Bottom of our Ocean (2017) - Produced a VR experience to promote a global challenge for deep-sea technologies for autonomous ocean exploration. Produced for XPrize and sponsored by Shell. [Link]
Discovery TRVLR (2017) – Directed two immersive stories of life in Antarctica. Produced for Discovery VR and sponsored by Toyota with underwriting from Google. [Link 1, Link 2]
Phone of the Wind (2017) – Directed an interactive VR documentary of a phone booth in Japan used to communicate with the dead. Funding provided by Oculus Education and featured in Meta’s VR Visionaries blog. [Link]
Salary Negotiation Simulator for Women (2016) - Produced a VR experience to help train women to negotiate higher salaries. Produced and piloted for the American Association of University Women and Premiered at the White House. [Link]
Ground Beneath Her (2016) – Filmed in 360 a young girl’s story one year after the earthquake in Nepal. Sonar Festival and Paris Virtual Reality Festival. [Link]
Google Immerse (2016) – Produced a series of 360 films on diversity and inclusion for Google Global HR. Screened for executives and thousands of Google employees.

Clouds Over Sidra (2014) – Co-directed and Co-produced a 360 film of a day in the life of a Syrian refugee child. Sheffield Documentary Festival Award Winner. [Link]
Keep the Oil in the Ground (2013) – Directed the story of a young woman’s fight against big oil in the Amazon. Received 1.9 million views in two weeks on YouTube. [Link]
