A Spectacled Bear, also known as the Andean Bear in a German zoo recently shed most of its fur from head to foot. The zoo’ s veterinarian cannot explain why this has happened. With winter fast approaching Germany, zoo staff are wondering how to keep the animal warm in the next several months.
